Professional football player Cameron Sutton does not have a brother. As per his University bio, he is the only son of his parents, Dalton and Nedra Sutton.

However, it is pretty surprising that the NFL has another player who shares the surname with him.

Many people believe that the Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is his brother. Although the two athletes know each other well, they are not blood-related.

Cameron Amir Sutton, better known as Cameron Sutton, is an American professional football player who plays as a cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League.

Brought up in Georgia, he attended Jonesboro High School, where he played basketball and baseball for three years before focusing entirely on football.

After graduating, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee and played four seasons of college football for the Volunteers. Cameron’s performance during college earned him an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, which raised his draft stock.

Sutton was chosen as the 94th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Does He Have A Brother?

The NFL cornerback Cameron Sutton was born to his parents, Nedra and Dalton Sutton, on February 27, 1995, in Jonesboro, Georgia. As per his college bio, he does not have any siblings.

Despite that, people have been associating him for quite a long time with another NFL player, Courtland Sutton, apparently because of their similar surname. However, they are not related.

Similarly, he shares the same name with the former Fresno State’s WR Cam Sutton, who had two sisters.

Maybe because of their same name, fans also think he has a sister, which is also not true.

Born in Jonesboro, he is the single child of the Jonesboro residents, Nedra and Dalton.

As per Cameron, he started playing football when he was four. However, he admitted that his parents were strict regarding his academic performance and did not allow him to play games when he got bad grades.

He once said in an interview that he did very well in his studies during high school out of fear that he would not make it to the NFL if he got bad results.

Consequently, both his game and grades improved over the years, and he thanks his family for sacrificing so many things to help him achieve his dream.

Not to mention, Sutton considers his parents his greatest motivators, and everything he does now is for his family, as they mean the world to him.
