Does Connor Bedard have a brother? Many fans are curious if the young ice hockey player has any siblings or not. Regardless, he has a sister Madison Bedard. 

The young ice hockey player plays as a center and is also the captain of the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). 

Connor Bedard is the number one pick for the 2023 NHL Draft. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks on May 9, 2023.

He started his career in 2020 after the 20 year old was drafted by the Regina Pats first overall in the WHL Bantam draft.

For his skills and efforts on the rink, he won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the league’s top rookie player.

Amazingly, Connor won it in his very first and debut season. He also has a very good record, as he has over 150 goals to his name. 

Also, in 2018 the young Connor Bedard was named the “Future of Ice Hockey.”

The young ice hockey player was born on July 17, 2005, to Tom Bedard and Melaine Bedard in North Vancouver, Canada. 

Though many have said that he has a brother who he grew up playing hockey with, however, that is not true, as he has a sister; Madison Bedard.

Tom and Melaine raised the two siblings in a happy home and encouraged them to follow their passion. 

According to reports, Bedard was raised in a Christian household along with his sister.  

On the other hand, the Bedard family seems to keep their personal life very private. Hence, not much is known about Connor’s parents or sister. 

The young Canadian is still a rising star, and his fame will only go up. As soon as more information about his family is known, the information will be posted.

The Vancouver native has been lucky enough to play for the Canadian national team. 

He played for the under-18 ice hockey team in the 2021 IIHF World U18 Championships in Frisco, Texas.

Additionally, Connor Bedard won the gold medal, which also led to him being named to the media all-star team.

The young center has been excellent since his young days and also played in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships at 16 years old.

However, the Championships did not take place due to Covid-19. On April 18, 2022, Connor was named to the Canadian team for the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships.

Furthermore, the 20 year old also scored a hat trick in the tournament. He scored the hat trick in the 8-3 victory of Germany. 

After the World Junior Championship finally took place, Connor was again selected. He recorded four goals and assists and won the gold for his country. 

Moreover, the young Canadian is a world recorded when he beat Jaromir Jagr for the most points by a player under age 19. 

Additionally, he was also named the Most valuable player of the tournament in the World Junior Championships.
