Curtis Samuel began his NFL career when the Carolina Panthers chose him as the 40th overall pick in 2017.

He debuted on September 17, 2017, against the Buffalo Bills, securing his first NFL victory with two receptions for seven yards.

Unfortunately, early in his rookie season, Curtis suffered a left ankle injury against the Miami Dolphins, landing him on injured reserve and ending his debut season prematurely.

Furthermore, Samuel missed the initial three games of 2018 due to his injury.

Following a long recovery, he made his comeback on October 7, 2018, and scored his first touchdown against the New York Giants.

During the 2018-2020 seasons, Curtis faced various teams and secured wins against the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions.

Samuel’s role as a running back and wide receiver sets him apart as a versatile and outstanding player in every game.

On March 18, 2021, he signed a three-year, $34.5 million deal with the Washington Football Team.

In the 2022 season, Samuel showcased his versatility in the opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with 55 receiving yards, 8 receptions, and 17 rushing yards, scoring his first touchdown for Washington.

Throughout the 17 games, he tallied 64 receptions, 646 yards, 4 receiving touchdowns, along with 38 rushes for 187 yards and a rushing touchdown.

In 2023, the Washington Commanders WR changed his jersey number to 4 for the season.
