Jack Sock is an American professional tennis player born on September 24, 1992. The star player will retire from tennis after the US Open. Besides tennis, he also plays pickleball. 

He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 8 on November 20, 2017, and a doubles ranking of world No. 2 on September 10, 2018. Notably, he clinched four ATP singles titles and an impressive 17 doubles titles.

Sock’s doubles expertise led to triumphs in major tournaments, including mixed doubles victory at the 2011 US Open and men’s doubles titles at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, 2018 Wimbledon Championships, and 2018 US Open.

He also secured the 2018 ATP Finals men’s doubles title. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Sock’s achievements continued to soar, with a gold medal in mixed doubles and a bronze in men’s doubles.

In singles, Sock’s achievements are equally remarkable, having triumphed as the junior US Open champion and victor at the 2017 Paris Masters. His talent was further showcased as a semifinalist at the 2017 ATP Finals.

Jack Sock does not have a sister. But he has a brother named Eric Sock. Jack and his brother have a shared passion for tennis.

The brothers played doubles and won the team state championship together in Jack’s sophomore year of high school.

They also played doubles once at the ATP Tour level as a wild card entry in the 2017 BB&T Atlanta Open.

All About Jack Sock Brother: Eric Sock

Eric Sock was born on September 22, 1990, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and he is two years older than his brother Jack. He went to Blue Valley North High School for his early education. 

Then, he went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree focused on Business Administration and Management. 

Eric’s collegiate tennis career flourished at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he not only showcased his tennis prowess but also excelled academically.

He earned a place on the 2013 Scholarly All-Big Ten group, reflecting his commitment to both sports and academics.

His dedication was further evident through his inclusion on the Nebraska Researcher Competitor Honor Roll during the fall and spring semesters of 2012, as well as his multiple appearances on the Big 12 Official’s Honor Roll.

Eric faced a life-threatening challenge in January 2015 when he was diagnosed with Lemierre’s syndrome.

Initially dismissing it as a sore throat, Eric was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors informed him that he would have likely died the following day if not for timely intervention.

According to Erick’s LinkedIn, he is currently working as a tennis professional at the Elite Squad Tennis Club. 

Jack’s Wife And Kids 

Tennis sensation Jack Sock is happily married to Lauren Little. The couple tied the knot in December 2020. The soon-to-be parents will welcome their baby in December 2023.

Lauren is a model and the winner of Miss North Carolina 2019. Interestingly, she was a cheerleader for 7 years and a dancer for 12 years.

She currently owns a clothing store named, ”The Little Sisters Boutique” with her sister, Courtney Little.
