Travis Pastrana was born into a family of racing enthusiasts to parents Robert and Debby Pastrana.
Robert Pastrana, his father, was a former motorcycle rider, and his mother, Debby Pastrana, was a championship-winning gymnast.
Further, his father is of Puerto Rican descent and built his career in the military. The Vietnam vet raced quite a bit during the early ‘70s when he got out of the Marines.
Although he wasn’t strictly a moto guy, Robert raced and won a six-hour-long hare scramble on an XR250.
Travis ran his own TV sports show by the name Nitro Circus in 2009. In one of the episodes of the show, Robert shattered his pelvis after jumping out of a moving speedboat.
In the 2008 ESPN documentary, 199 Lives: The Travis Pastrana Story, Robert describes how proud he is of his son and how he enjoys every stunt of Travis.
Debby Pastrana on the other hand had many sleepless nights given the high risk of her son’s stunts. She respected his decisions and stood strong by his side.

Travis Pastrana is a happy family guy. He is married to his beautiful wife, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins and they have two beautiful daughters.

Travis proposed to Lyn-Z during a live performance of Nitro Circus in June 2011. The pair got married in Southern California in front of their loved ones on October 29, 2011.
