Candidate for President of the United States, Donald Trump, recently announced his new policy, saying if he won the reelection next month, he would ban transgender athletes in sports.

Trump made the shocking comments about transgender on Tuesday, October 15, during the Fox News taped town hall of only female voters in Cumming, Ga., with Fox News’s Harris Faulkner.

During his political discussion in the news, an audience asked him how he would handle the current transgender issue in sports. In response, the politician quickly said he would ban them from the sport without hesitation.

He shows his full disagreement towards transgender people competing in sports as he answers the question by saying, “It’s such an easy question, and you know that answer. We’re not going to let it happen.

Further, while talking about the transgender issues in US sports, Trump referred to the viral video of a transgender college volleyball player, Blaire Fleming, in California, spiking a ball at her opponent, SDSU junior Keira Herron.

The video showed Herron getting knocked down after the hit from Fleming, after which the crowd started speaking against transgender people in the sports.

Similarly, referring to the same video, Trump said, “I never saw a ball hit so hard,” and he confirmed that to prevent this kind of thing from happening in sports, he would just ban them from participating in any sports. He said, “The president bans. You just don’t let it happen. Not a big deal.

Trump also confirmed overturning transgender student protections introduced by the Biden administration!

Donald Trump has been making new policies and rules against the LGBTQ+ community for a long time. At the same time, his 2024 election campaign seemed mainly focused on Transgender issues, especially in relation to sports and student protections.

After Donald Trump said his new policy against transgender people, whom he calls men, would be banning them from participating in sports, he then confirmed working on overturning transgender student protections.

According to the reports, transgender student protections were started by the 46th U.S. President Joe Biden administration. These protections are forced to address discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in schools, but unfortunately, it does not cover sports.

However, Trump confirmed he would overturn these protections on his first day back in office if he won the election.

Similarly, in 2022, Trump said he would sign executive orders that aim to stop programs that encourage people to change gender if they want, which he calls “left-wing gender insanity.

Further, some of his ads also criticize people and democrats who support LGBTQ and Transgender athletes.
