Ann Michael Hudson has been gaining people’s attention with her recent marriage to New England Patriots QB, Drake Maye.

Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael Hudson, both natives of North Carolina, are high school sweethearts who first met while attending William A. Hough High School.

While Drake excelled in football and basketball, his wife, Ann Michael Hudson, showcased her amazing athletic skills playing multiple sports in high school.

Ann Michael was the team captain of Varsity Softball, Field Hockey, and Cheerleading, leading her team in several victories.

In addition to softball and field hockey, Ann also played varsity basketball and volleyball at William A. Hough High School in Cornelius, NC, from which she graduated in 2021.

She further served as an assistant softball coach for Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation for three months in 2022.

Likewise, after years of dating, Drake Maye and Ann Michael Hudson got engaged on January 15, 2025, and tied the knot on June 22, 2025, in front of their parents, family, and loved ones.

Ann Michael Hudson was born to parents Kevin Hudson and Alicia Tadlock Hudson, both North Carolina natives. Although very little information is available about her mother, Alicia, as she prefers to maintain a low profile, her father is a former football star.

Furthermore, Ann Michael’s dad, Kevin, played multiple sports in high school and college. Similarly, he was an athletic scholar and a three-year letterman in football at Wofford College.

In addition to her father, Ann Michael Hudson’s brother, Tad Hudson, is also a fantastic football player, currently playing as a quarterback at Coastal Carolina University.

Before Coastal Carolina, Tad played football at North Carolina and Hough High School, where he served as a team captain and was a standout all-conference performer.

Earning his Bachelor of Arts in business and managerial economics from Wofford College in 2001, Ann Michael’s father, Kevin Hudson, began his career as an account manager.

Kevin served as an account manager at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 2001 to 2004.

After gaining years of experience, Kevin joined Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Wilkesboro, NC, as a transportation monitoring analyst in 2004 and was promoted to vendor supply chain specialist at Lowe’s Companies in Mooresville, NC, in 2005.

Serving in his position as a vendor supply chain specialist for over four years, Kevin was promoted to merchandising manager of the company before retiring in 2017. He worked with the company for over 13 years.

Since 2017, Kevin Hudson has been working with GE Lighting, a Savant company in Mooresville, North Carolina.

He joined the company as a senior national account manager and was promoted to national account executive in 2019. Kevin now serves as the VP of Sales at GE Lighting.
