In the pots, Stephanie Lewis expressed her anger and disappointment, saying the children’s behavior reflects the parenting and values they were raised with.

Highlighting Durand’s lack of strict policy against bullying and racism, she says;

“Durand should be very ashamed of the children they’ve raised,”

She added that such behavior is completely unacceptable and that no child should have to endure racism while participating in school sports.

Following the post, many other parents and community members responded to Lewis’s post, supporting her concerns.

Many highlighted the poor sportsmanship displayed during the game and the importance of addressing such issues to protect students.

One user with simple experience on the comment wrote;

That is a damn shame. Sickening actually.I just had a similar conversation today from someone raised in Durand. (She is not that way. She’s very open minded and travels all over the world.) Kind of crazy but def shameful.

Some parents shared personal frustration at the lack of accountability, while others emphasized the need for schools to educate students about respect and equality.

Moreover, Lewis, in the comment, further confirmed she spoke with her child’s coach, who said he would handle the situation with the school.

She also stated that she plans to follow up to ensure proper action is taken.

As of now, no actions from the school community seem to have been taken, so Stephanie appears concerned for her child’s safety and awareness.
