NBA Today host Malika Andrews exchanged vows with her husband and fellow sports reporter, Dave McMenamin, on August 24, 2024.

The couple first encountered each other while covering a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in 2017.

Their shared passion for the sport brought them closer, as both hosted popular basketball shows on ESPN.

The two began dating shortly afterward and took their relationship to the next level with an engagement in 2022.

Although the pair keeps much of their personal lives private online, people recognize them as a true power couple.

Dave proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Malika Andrews, on Thanksgiving Day in 2022 after dating for five years.

The couple tied the knot on August 24, 2024, at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, California, after nearly two years of engagement.

Speaking about their wedding, the pair revealed with Vogue that they had always wanted to marry in Malika’s hometown.

We always knew we wanted to get married in the Bay Area, where Malika is from, When we arrived at Cavallo Point for the first time, it just felt right.

Moreover, their wedding ceremony became the talk of the town as it blended their personal life touches and showcased their journey in sports journalism.

The reception featured a functional, flower-adorned basketball hoop and a basketball-themed seating chart designed to resemble a tournament.

Further, they chose their wedding date to coincide with Mamba Day, honoring the late Kobe Bryant. Likewise, they also included other elements, such as Syracuse Spritzes at the reception, to pay tribute to Dave’s alma mater.

They made their wedding memorable with personalized touches, and Vogue Magazine even covered the event.

Meanwhile, the newly married couple is adjusting to their new life together and will hopefully adapt soon.
