Ramona Shelburne And Nevin Barich, A Married Couple Of 16 Years, Share Two Kids!

American sportswriter Ramona Shelburne first crossed paths with her future husband, Nevin Barich, in the early 2000s while working at the Los Angeles Daily News.

Ramona had just graduated from Stanford University and was looking for a writing job, while Nevin was a sports reporter at the newspaper.

It was their shared passion for journalism and sports that brought them together.

Later, Nevin and Ramona started dating around 2001 and spent several years getting to know each other.

They did their homework to get to know each other for a considerable time before deciding to take the next step.

Nevin felt it was time to take the relationship to a new level, so he proposed to Ramona on August 30, 2008.

After dating for about eight years, Ramona and Nevin tied the knot on August 23, 2009.

Nine years into their marriage, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time in June 2018 with the birth of their son, Daniel Charlie Barich, named in honor of his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father.

Four years later, on June 8, 2022, the couple welcomed their second child, Jacob Bryan Barich, expanding their family of three to four.

Ramona and Nevin sincerely appreciate having one another in their lives. Every so often, they openly express their love and gratitude, celebrating their bond.

On May 11, 2025, Nevin Barich took to his Instagram to share an appreciation tribute to Ramona on Mother’s Day, highlighting her role as the glue that holds the family together.

Barich playfully described himself and his son as “three boys running aimlessly in circles.” At the same time, the final remark, “Your three puppies love you so very much!!!,” spoke volumes about their affection.

He wrote:

Simply put, our family isn’t complete without her. Without her, we are basically three boys running aimlessly in circles. But with her, we’re a family unit that keeps moving forward. Happy Mother’s Day to the one who does it all: Ramona Shelburne!!! Your three puppies love you so very much!!!

Similarly, on Valentine’s Day, Barich penned a deeply sentimental and heartfelt post showcasing his love that has endured for more than two decades.

He wrote that no gift or gesture can fully tell how much she means to him, writing:

Over the years, I’ve grown to really hate Valentine’s Day. It’s not because I think of it as a Hallmark holiday, and it’s not because I don’t want to spend money to show how much I care.
It’s because it’s a stark reminder that there’s nothing I can say or do or buy that will truly reflect how important the woman in my life has been to me for nearly 23 years.

This speaks volumes about their sound marriage, showing that they continue to keep the spark alive even after years together and remain head over heels in love like a newly married couple.
