In the world of sports broadcasting, ESPN journalist Hannah Storm and her husband, NBC sportscaster Dan Hicks, are a power couple who have built a strong partnership off the screen.

The couple first crossed paths when they worked at CNN in the late 1980s, where Storm was the first female host on CNN Sports Tonight.

Their shared passion for broadcasting brought them together, making their professional relationship personal.

Since then, the pair have been succeeding as top sports journalists while effortlessly handling their personal family lives.

Over the years, Hannah and Dan have created a tight-knit family of five with their three daughters, enjoying a happy marriage for the past three decades.

Hannah Celebrated Her 32th Wedding Anniversary With Her Husband, Dan, in 2026!

Hannah Storm tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Dan Hicks, on January 8, 1994, in the presence of friends and family in a beautiful ceremony.

They welcomed their eldest daughter, Ellery, in 1995, their middle child, Hannah Hicks, in 1997, and their youngest, Riley, in 2001.

The proud parents of three, Hannah and Dan, occasionally share glimpses of their personal lives online.

On their 30th wedding anniversary, Storm shared pictures from their wedding day, celebrating their togetherness with a heartfelt caption that read,

30 years ago today….Happy anniversary to US! Time sure flies with @danhicksnbc ❤️🌹🙏🏻🍾!

On the same occasion, her husband also posted pictures on social media, praising Hannah in a caption that read,

30 yrs ago our marriage began an incredible journey with 3 gorgeous daughters. Through it all our guiding light has been my beautiful wife, inside and out! Happy 30th Sweetie! ❤️🙏

Even after years of marrying, Hannah and Dan know how to keep things spicy, for they often go on dates to keep the spark, as in the earlier days.

Hannah took to her Instagram to share a carousel of pictures during their date night at Blue Hill At Stone Barns on September 11, 2024. She wrote,

Date night/work night at @bluehillfarm ! Twice in one week- what a treat! @danhicksnbc.

Their strong partnership has consistently been visible to the public through their frequent social outings, appearances at events, and co-broadcasting.

They were recently present at the Buying Time Gala event hosted by Dave Butler to raise money for cancer research.

As much as Hannah is a female pioneer and a sensation in sports broadcasting, her husband, Dan, is equally impressive.

After graduating from the University of Arizona, Dan worked in radio as a weekend sports anchor on KVOA.

Having started his career as a play-by-play commentator for Notre Dame, Dan has hosted significant events such as the NBA, NFL, and Olympics thus far.

The veteran sportscaster has worked with NBC Sports for over three decades, covering various sports, including football, basketball, tennis, and golf.

Needless to say, Hannah and Dan have been each other biggest cheerers; however, ever since she announced her breast cancer diagnosis, Dan’s care for her has grown immensely.

Dan is undoubtedly a devoted husband who respects his wife as a fellow sportscaster and loves and supports her as a partner.
