The Dearborn, Michigan, community is mourning the untimely death of beloved native and standout athlete, Aubrie Morgan.
Aubrie Morgan passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 18, apparently from a brain aneurysm; however, her family has not yet revealed the details surrounding her untimely death.
Born on August 22, 2007, in Dearborn, Michigan, Aubrie Morgan was a cherished member of the sports community and touched the lives of many with her amazing high school athletic journey and her cheerful nature.
The late Aubrie Morgan, a proud member of the DHS Pioneers athletic community, was a talented and dedicated student-athlete at Dearborn High School.
She played right field on the varsity softball team and served as a goalie for the varsity field hockey team, earning several honorable titles for her skill and sportsmanship.
A member of the Class of 2025, Aubrie had just graduated and was looking forward to beginning her journey in cosmetology, eager to make her mark on the world.
Known for her determination, kindness, and passion for both sports and learning, Aubrie touched the lives of her teammates, coaches, and friends, leaving behind a lasting legacy of dedication and inspiration.
DHS Pioneers Softball took to its social media to pay tribute to the late Aubrie and wrote:
“She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and always found a way to have a smile on her face. We cannot put in words what she meant to the 2025 Softball Teams and the future of the program because without her, we would have had to eliminate the JV team.We will never forget the passion she had for life. We ask that everyone take a moment to remember her, her family and her friends in this most difficult of times.”

DHS also organized a candlelight vigil on January 15, 2026, at 9 PM in Ford Field Park near the Red Bridge to honor its former student-athlete, Aubrie Morgan.

In addition to being an amazing athlete, Aubrie Morgan was a great daughter to her parents, Chad Morgan and Megan Waldron.
Both Chad Morgan and Megan Waldron took to social media to express their sorrow and pay tribute to their daughter.
Chad Morgan shared a beautiful picture of Aubrie and wrote:
“My heart is completely broken. My beautiful daughter. I love you Aubrie 💙. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry.The world is not fair. Here are some of my favorite photos of Aubrie. These memories are what keep me going 💙”

While Megan didn’t share any statement, she shared a beautiful picture of late Aubrie on social media.
Furthermore, Aubrie’s parents, Chad and Megan’s social media is filled with pictures of Aubrie and her athletic achievements.
In addition to her parents, Aubrie’s stepmother, Michelle Olivia, also took to her social media to pay tribute to her daughter and wrote:
“our beautiful girl, a ray of sunshine. the world feels so cold and gloomy without you. i know you’re walking the beach at sunset & surfing the waves.”

Aubrie also leaves behind her siblings, Harlow, Noah, and Waheed, her grandparents, Edward Morgan, Patrick Waldron, and David & Elizabeth Schroka, her uncles, Patrick, Hunter, Fischer Waldron, and Nick Schroka, her aunt, Rachel (Nick) Vasquez, loving partner Rami, and the entire family.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sandra, and Renee.
Aubrie Morgan’s family has organized a memorial service on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road, and on Modany 10:00 a.m.
Funeral service wll be held at 11:00 a.m. at Beacon Baptist Church.
