London, Kentucky, is mourning the untimely death of beloved resident and former athlete, Kyle Speagle.
Kyle Speagle passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 26; however, his family hasn’t yet revealed the actual cause of his untimely death.
Kyle, a native of Winnsboro, South Carolina, touched the lives of many with his amazing athletic skills and his kind-hearted nature.
He began his athletic journey from a very young age, excelling in multiple sports.
Furthermore, Kyle Speagle went on to become an exceptional student-athlete at Gray Collegiate Academy in South Carolina, where he played for the boys’ varsity football team and led his team in several victories.
After a remarkable high school journey, Kyle continued his football career at the University of South Carolina.
Although he didn’t pursue his athletic career professionally, his exceptional contribution to South Carolina’s sports community will always be remembered.
Similarly, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to Kyle on social media and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Kyle Speagle is Survived By his Wife, Lindsey, Daughter, Evelyn, and The Entire Family
In addition to being an amazing athlete, Kyle Speagle was a great husband to his wife, Lindsey Chesnut Speagle, and a loving father to their daughter, Evelyn.
The couple tied the knot in March 2023 and welcomed their baby girl in January 2024.
Kyle often shared pictures of his wife and daughter on social media, expressing his love and pride for them.
Lindsey also never misses a chance to express her love for her beloved husband. The untimely death of Kyle Speagle has left his wife, Lindsey, devastated.
His wife took to her social media to express her sorrow at losing her beloved partner and pay tribute to him.
The post reads:
“The love of my life. My world is broken. I’m living in a nightmare that I cannot wake up from. I don’t know what to do. What to say. How to breathe. Pray for me and Evelyn.”

While very little information about Kyle’s professional life is available, as he preferred to maintain a low profile, his wife, Lindsey, is excelling in her career as a digital marketing specialist.
A graduate of Somerset Community College, Lindsey has been serving as a shareholder at London Liquidators, a family-owned business in London, Kentucky.
In addition to his wife and daughter, Kyle Speagle is survived by his beloved mother, Jody Speagle; uncle Jamie Speagle; aunt Starr Connor; cousins; and the entire family.
