Ex-NFL player Chris Kluwe was born to parents Richard and Sandy Kluwe on December 24, 1981, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ronald and Sandy were dedicated to raising their children, Chris, Greg, and Kim Kluwe. They always wanted their kids to be active and involved in sports.

The Kluwe family moved to Los Alamitos, California, where Chris attended Los Alamitos High School.

Chris credits much of his character and values to his parents, who were his constant source of inspiration and love.

However, details surrounding Ronald and Sandy’s profession remain unknown. They maintain a private life away from social media.

Chris Kluwe Attributes All That He Has Achieved and Will Achieve in the Future to His Parents!

Ronald and Sandy recognized their son’s potential and supported his interests, whether his passion for reading, playing the violin, or excelling in sports.

He wasn’t usually a sports fan. “If it’s up to me, I’d rather read a book or play video games or go do something as opposed to watching TV,” Chris said in an interview.

Nontheless, it was his parents who pushed him to be active at an early age. Chris Kluwe said,

Growing up, I would have preferred to stay on the couch playing video games and reading, but my parents said, ‘No, you need to be outside running around.

Turns out he was good at sports; Chris became a standout kicker and punter at Los Alamitos High.

Ronald and Sandy even decided to homeschool Chris for his eighth-grade year. They ensured his curriculum was top-notch and included subjects like Shakespeare, the Federalist Papers, and Latin conjugations.

Similarly, they also encouraged Chris Kluwe’s love for adventure and learning.

His grandmother, an aerospace engineer, took him on a two-week trip to Antarctica during middle school.

Although Chris’s parents wanted him to excel in every aspect of his life, they let the Kluwe brothers have sound time playing games.

Chris recalled a childhood memory when he brought home a deck of Magic: The Gathering cards when he was around 8, and Greg was around 6.

The Kluwe brother played the fantasy card game all night until their parents demanded they go to sleep.
