Singer Carnie Wilson’s personal life is as harmonious as her upbringing in a musical household, since her husband is a musician as well.

Talking about their relationship timeline, it was in 1998, while on tour with Wilson Phillips, that Carnie crossed paths with Rob Bonfiglio, a talented musician, singer, songwriter, and producer.

As cliched as it sounds, in no time, the two bonded with Carnie describing it as “love at first sight.

Eventually, their relationship blossomed into something meaningful, and Carnie and Rob walked down the aisle on June 23, 2000.

The married couple, who have been together for 26 years, have raised two daughters: Lola Sofia, born in 2005, and Luciana Bellaborn in 2009.

Their firstborn, Lola Sofia Bonfiglio, participated in American Idol during Season 23, and her audition aired on March 23, 2025.

Lola performed the Wilson Phillips hit “Hold On” with her mother, Carnie, aunt Wendy Wilson, and father Rob accompanying her on guitar.

She also sang a solo rendition of Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow,” earning praise from judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie for her “pure” and “honest” voice.

They gave her three “yes” votes, securing a golden ticket to Hollywood Week. However, Lola was eliminated during Hollywood Week.

Carnie later defended Lola against online criticism, calling out “cruel” comments and praising her daughter’s bravery and talent.

Carnie Wilson’s Husband, Rob Bonfiglio, Has Been In The Music Industry For Over Three Decades!

Rob Bonfiglio is a respected figure in the music industry, much like his wife and father-in-law.

Rob’s musical journey began in the 1990s when he co-founded the power-pop band Wanderlust. Their single “I Walked” became a hit on the Billboard charts, giving Rob his first taste of success.

His skills as a guitarist and songwriter shone through, and he soon found himself performing with big names like The Who, Collective Soul, and Linda Ronstadt.

One of his proudest moments was joining Brian Wilson’s touring band as a guitarist, where he got to play the iconic Beach Boys songs that inspired him.

As a solo artist, Rob has released five albums: Mea Culpa, Bring On The Happy, Trouble Again, Freeway, and others.

Beyond performing, Rob is also a skilled producer. In 2012, he produced Wilson Phillips’ album Dedicated, which featured covers of Beach Boys and Mamas & The Papas songs, tying his work to Carnie’s family legacy.

He’s described touring with Wilson Phillips as a “great experience,” where he and Carnie share their love for music, sometimes joined on stage by their daughters.

Beyond music, Carnie and Rob share a strong family life. Carnie runs a bakery called Love Bites by Carnie in Sherwood, Oregon, and is a proud mom who encourages her daughters to follow their passions.

Lola, now 19, is already a talented singer, with Carnie saying she can “sing anybody in this family under the table.” Luci, 14, plays the cello, continuing the family’s musical tradition.
