On May 8th, after a baseball game, Levi Whitton and his dad, Thomas Whitton, were in a car accident on their way home to Mount Pleasant. Sadly, both of them passed away.
Those who knew Levi were all looking forward to seeing him back after the baseball season.
Now, Levi’s mom and Thomas’s wife, Allison, are left to face this unimaginable loss while raising their two young daughters.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral costs and support the family during this difficult time.
Family And Friends Mourn The Loss Of Levi Whitton
Carrie Duncan Bratcher shared that this heartbreaking loss hit especially close to home, as Thomas, Allison, and Levi, 11, were her next-door neighbors.
Allison is now facing life without her husband and son after the tragic accident that took both Thomas and Levi.
She’s asking for support in any way possible, whether through donations or simply sharing, to help ease the burden on Allison and her two young daughters during this unimaginable time.
These are my next door neighbors. Allison lost her husband Thomas & their son Levi last night. Please donate if you can!

Similarly, Yolanda Whitton shared that her brother-in-law, Tom, and her beloved nephew, Levi, are truly gone.
She’s asking for prayers for strength, comfort, and healing for the family as they face this overwhelming grief.
If only it were unreal. We lost My brother in law Tom and my sweet nephew Levi. Please donate if you can. Most importantly lift this family up in prayers during this difficult time.

Further, Revolution Combat Sports shared jis father, Thomas, was a good man who always supported Levi’s martial arts journey.
Thomas often talked with staff and other parents, sharing stories and enjoying conversations about history and the school’s symbolism, especially anything related to 1776.
The family has started a GoFundMe for funeral expenses and transitional support for the surviving family members, as Mom & wife Allison is left behind with 2 beautiful but young little girls. If you’re able to help thank you and if not please share if you can. I can’t imagine what she is going through now😔: https://gofund.me/309d9b28

Hug your loved ones, folks. You just never know. Rest easy, little ninja🙇♂️🙏
PS: I will not be sharing this news with the kids during classes next week. I believe this type of event is one that needs to be heard from a parent as they see fit for their child. If I’m approached with a question about it I will do my absolute best to steer them back to a family member but if that’s not possible I’ll handle the conversation delicately and generally and then notify the parents upon pick up so they can provide support and context as they see fit.
Rest in peace, Levi and Thomas. You will both be missed more than words can express.
