Former High School Football Standout Mikeen Harrison Accused Of Sending Threatening Messages To His Ex-Girlfriend
Former football player for The Villages High School, Mikeen D’Shawn Harrison, was arrested on a warrant charging him with sending threatening messages to his ex-girlfriend.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mikeen, 18, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, and booked him at the Marion County Jail.
A deputy learned that Mikeen was continuously texting threats to his ex-girlfriend, as per the arrest report.
They responded to her residence to speak with her, and she explained that she dated Harrison, who played as a tight end for the Buffalo.
She attempted to end the relationship with Harrison on May 19, 2025, according to the reports.
On that day, Harrison sent about 54 texts. One of those messages stated that if he were to see her, he would slap her.
After this incident, he contacted her to arrange for the pickup of his belongings. She responded to him, but only to arrange the pickup of his stuff so she would never have to talk to him again.
She told Harrison that he could pick all his items, but he continuously failed to do so.
On June 1, 2025, Harrison’s ex-girlfriend went to the beach for the day and left her cellphone behind.
During that time, Mikeen called her around 73 times. After receiving no response, he continued to send her threatening messages, such as “It’s okay, I’m on my way… with bad intentions,” and “I always know where you are.”
Harrison told her that she “better call back,” or he would hurt her. He also said he would go to her house and sent her a screenshot of her workplace from Apple Maps.
At that time, she messaged him back asking him to leave her alone.
He continued to tell her to go outside and then sent a photo of the inside of his car. Harrison was seated in the driver’s seat with a message that stated, “…yea you dead.”
On June 3, 2025, Harrison texted her 55 times. She responded to get him to stop, but was unsuccessful.
On June 1, 2025, the ex-girlfriend texted Harrison to stop contacting her, but he ignored her request.
She feared that if he were to find her, he would cause her harm.
He had already shown up at her work on June 6, 2025, and keyed the trunk of her car.
Harrison was arrested Sunday night on a warrant charging him with aggravated stalking. He was initially booked without bond at the jail.
