Sean Parker Wetherbee, a Fitchburg, Massachusetts-based personal instructor, fitness coach, and former athlete, passed away on November 8, 2025, at an untimely age of 30, leaving his loved ones devastated.
While his family hasn’t yet revealed the details surrounding the untimely death of Sean Wetherbee, many of his loved ones are sharing his memories on social media and paying tribute.

Sean Wetherbee touched the lives of many as an exceptional fitness coach and personal trainer.
Growing up in Ayer, Massachusetts, Sean began his sports and weightlifting journey from a very young age, excelling in multiple sports.
Sean Wetherbee, wearing jersey No. 51, played as an offensive and defensive lineman (OL/DL) for Ayer Shirley High School’s boys varsity football team in Ayer, Massachusetts. Standing 6 feet tall, he was a member of the Class of 2014.
Unfortunately, due to knee injuries, Sean was unable to pursue his athletic career; however, he continued to guide youth athletes in the community as Leominster Blue Devils 9U football coach.
Late Sean Wetherbee Turned His Passion For Fitness into Profession
After his career-ending knee injuries, Sean Wetherbee gained a significant amount of weight, and it was then that he realized the importance of fitness, which later shaped his profession.
He began his journey into fitness and started sharing his knowledge with people in the community, serving as a coach, nutrition specialist, and personal trainer.
Sean specialized in hypertrophy training, strength and conditioning, HIIT, and bodybuilding. He was an ISSA-certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
He was serving as a fitness instructor and personal trainer at Orchard Hills Athletic Club in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
In addition to being an amazing fitness coach, Sean Wetherbee was also a great son.
Born on October 13, 1995, in Ayer, Massachusetts, Sean was the beloved son of Richard and Marna Oliveros Wetherbee.
Sean often shared pictures of his parents on social media, expressing his love for them.
While Richard and Marna haven’t released any statement regarding the untimely death of their beloved and only son, Sean Wetherbee, they often share his achievements on social media, expressing their pride.
His father, Richard Wetherbee, is a native of Littleton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Littleton High School. However, very little information is available about his professional life, as he prefers to maintain a low profile.
Regarding his mother, Marna Oliveros Wetherbee, a graduate of Fitchburg State University and Endicott College, is a former HRA Support and Program Supervisor at Catapult Learning.
Marna also served as director of the before- and after-school childcare program at Tigers Den in Littleton, as well as an assistant to the executive director, supervisor of the substitute teacher team, and manager of the national substitute teacher team at Bright Horizons for nearly 14 years.
She began her career as the managing director of the Gorton School Child Development Center in Groton, Massachusetts, in 2004 and served in this position until 2006.
Furthermore, the family has organized a memorial service to honor and remember Sean on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, Massachusetts.
