A freshman guard from Fitchburg, Beautiful Sanchez, tragically passed away unexpectedly at 18 years old in June 2025, leaving behind her family and a grieving community.

She was a standout basketball player whose future held immense promise, with her talent and determination shining through on the court.
However, her tragic and untimely passing cut short a journey filled with potential and aspirations.
Beautiful Sanchez Was A Dedicated Student-Athlete Who Excelled In Both Basketball And Flag Football!
Beautiful Sanchez, 18, was a student-athlete at Fitchburg State University, where she played basketball and flag football.
Standing 5’3″, she was a 2024 graduate of Fitchburg High School and was pursuing a degree in Human Services.
Known for her leadership and spirit, she played basketball while pursuing a degree in Human Services.
During her time on the court, she appeared in seven games, contributing to her team with a field goal percentage of 50.0%. She averaged 0.3 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.1 assists per game.
In addition to basketball, she was also a committed member of the flag football team.
Her coaches and teammates described her as a fierce competitor, a loyal teammate, and a natural leader.
Sanchez’s dedication to sports reflected her strong work ethic and passion for teamwork.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father and grandmother, and she is survived by her devoted mother and cherished family members.
Her passing has left her family, especially her mother, Jennifer Graves, in deep mourning.
Jennifer was her greatest supporter, always standing by her side through her academic and athletic journey.
Her family is mourning her loss in private as they navigate this difficult time.
