DK Metcalf, an American professional football wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, grew up in an athletic household where his father played seven seasons in the NFL.

He has two brothers who are enthusiastic about football and might follow in his footsteps in the league.

DK began playing football at Oxford High School and committed to play college football at the University of Mississippi.

He declared for the 2019 NFL draft after the 2018 season, forgoing his last two years of college football.

The Seattle Seahawks selected him in the second round as the 64th overall pick and signed a four-year deal on May 22, 2019. He was named a Pro Bowler in 2020 and 2023.

After six seasons with the Seahawks, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers on March 13, 2025.

DK’s brothers are dedicated fans, cheering him on whenever they can, and he enjoys spending time with them, united by their shared love of football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver is dominating the league today, but his little brothers could be the following big names in football tomorrow.

DK’s second youngest brother, Daylin Metcalf, also plays baseball with his school teammates.

DeKaylin Zecharius “DK” Metcalf is the proud big brother to three talented younger sisters: Zharia, Zkyra, and Zoe Metcalf.

All three sisters attended Oxford High School in Mississippi, following in their family’s footsteps in athletics.

The eldest sister, Zharia, born on March 11, 2000, continued her academic and athletic journey at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss.

The middle sister, Zkyra, born on December 8, 2002, graduated from Oxford High before heading to the University of Arizona to pursue her own path.

Nonetheless, the youngest sister, Zoe, born on December 27, 2006, made her mark on the basketball court. After a successful high school career, she committed to playing college basketball for Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Their parents, Terrence and Tonya Metcalf, are proud of raising a family of accomplished and driven children who are each excelling in their own unique ways.
