William Todd Addington, a beloved resident of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on November 2, 2025, at the age of 60.

While the cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed, available sources described his passing as peaceful.

Born on September 23, 1965, Todd graduated from Amarillo High School in 1983.

Later, he earned his MBA from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Todd was involved in sports from a young age. He started playing through Kids, Inc. and later became part of Amarillo High School’s first UIL soccer team.

His involvement in soccer didn’t end after school; he continued to play and also coached, sharing his love for the sport with others.

Todd was also a devoted football fan who looked forward to game days, especially when cheering for the Dallas Cowboys or Texas Tech Red Raiders.

He built a successful career in regional retail management, where he was respected for his leadership and work ethic.

On July 24, 2010, he married his high school love, Angela Browder, in Flower Mound, Texas, and became a stepfather to her son, Justin Prince.

The family lived in Flower Mound before returning to Amarillo, where Todd spent his final years.

In his final months, he was anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild in February.

William Todd’s passing has left his family, friends, and the entire community heartbroken.

Many have expressed sorrow over his passing, describing Todd as someone who was always thoughtful and generous.

Moreover, his family requested privacy during this heartbreaking time while mourning the loss of their dear husband, father, and son.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angie, stepson, Justin, His mother, Billie, his sister, Lisa, and many extended family members.

On the other hand, he was predeceased by his father, Bill Addington.

Regarding the memorial, a visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Amarillo to honor his life.
