Former Arizona Cardinals Tim Hasselbeck’s Wife Elisabeth DelPadre Uplifts Message About Trusting In God After Don Hasselbeck’s Passing

Don Hasselbeck, who spent time coaching at Ensworth alongside his sons Tim and Matt, passed away on 14 April.

Soon after news of Don Hasselbeck’s passing, TV personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck (DelPadre), who is married to Tim, shared a Bible verse on social media to honor him.

She posted a message of faith and remembrance for her father-in-law.

Later that day, Elisabeth added another post to her Instagram Story, sharing a message about finding strength and comfort by trusting in God.

Inside Tim and Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Journey From College Sweethearts To Life As A Family Of Five

Tim and Elisabeth Hasselbeck have been married since 2002.

They met in the late ’90s while both were students at Boston College. Tim was the football team quarterback, and Elisabeth was captain of the women’s softball team, which won back-to-back BIG EAST titles.

Elisabeth has always been involved in sports. She ran the Boston Marathon in 1999 and competed on the reality show Survivor: The Australian Outback in 2001, making it to the final four.

Originally from Rhode Island, she’s a longtime fan of the classic Boston Celtics. Her brother-in-law, Matt Hasselbeck, was the team’s quarterback for many years.

Talking about their life as a couple, Elisabeth once shared that Tim naturally takes on the leadership role at home, just like he did as a quarterback on the field.

She said their family runs smoothly because of his guidance, and while she’s strong and confident, she appreciates his steady presence.

Elisabeth and Tim are parents to three children- one daughter, Grace, and two sons, Taylor and Isaiah.

They became parents for the first time in April 2005 when their daughter Grace was born.

Just six weeks later, Elisabeth returned to her job on The View, which she had started in 2003.

She happily shared that Grace was doing great, eating and sleeping a lot, just like her dad.

Their family grew again in November 2007 with the birth of their first son, Taylor.

Elisabeth appeared on The View again in early 2008 and surprised fans a year later by announcing she was pregnant with baby number three.

Their youngest child, Isaiah, arrived in August 2009. Not long after, Elisabeth said they weren’t planning on having any more kids, joking that she was “avoiding” Tim to make sure of it.
