Besides two elder brothers, the youngest of Stroud’s siblings, C.J. Stroud, has an elder sister, Cieara Stroud, who is nothing but one of the influential people in his life.
C.J. Stroud has two older brothers, Isaiah and Asmar, and an elder sister, Cieara Stroud, born to parents, Kimberly and Coleridge Bernard Stroud III.
Unlike C.J., she isn’t into sports; born on May 24, 1998, Cieara Stroud is a singer who shares her work on several streaming platforms like SoundCloud, Spotify, and more.
Although she isn’t an established singer, she is making her way into the music industry.
On March 26, 2025, via Instagram, Cieara announced her pregnancy with her partner, writing:

After the pregnancy announcement, Cieara’s partner proposed to her during their trip to Honolulu, Waikiki Beach.
She shared pictures of the precious moment, flaunting her beautiful baby bump and a ring, writing, “A covenant with God! ♾️ till forever 🤍.”
Cieara’s daughter, Gigi, was born in September 2025. After the birth, she shared the pictures with her newborn, expressing her immense gratitude:

The NFL player Stroud’s parents, Kimberly and Coleridge, married in 1997 and welcomed four children: older brothers Isaiah and Asmar, then Ciara, and finally C.J. in 2001.
The tight-knit family of four was built around their church, the Life Application Christian Center, which their father pastored with passion.
But life took a painful turn when the parents divorced in 2012, leaving Kimberly to raise the kids alone.
Things grew even harder a few years later, in 2015, when Coleridge faced arrest and a long prison sentence for serious crimes tied to a relapse in old struggles with addiction and charges that included carjacking, kidnapping, and robbery.
The family struggled financially and eventually settled into a cramped 2-bedroom apartment above a storage facility where Kimberly worked as a manager.
In fact, they struggled to the point where money for basics like new cleats for C.J.’s games was scarce. He once hid blisters on his feet from outgrown shoes, not wanting to burden his mom, who juggled jobs to keep them afloat.
Through it all, Ciara, as the only sister among three brothers, stepped up in ways that went beyond words.
Later, after C.J. made it succesful in the NFL, he bought a 4-bedroom home in California for his mother and his sister Ciara in 2022.
Unlike C.J., Ciara remains lowkey; however, she has stepped into the limelight alongside C.J. during one of his biggest moments, i.e., during the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City.
Ciara and their mother were present at his biggest moment. Above all, it wasn’t just a glamorous walk; it felt like a full-circle nod to the support that got him there.
C.J. doesn’t hold back when it comes to praising Ciara in his interviews. Right after the draft buzz settled, during a red carpet chat captured in EssentiallySports coverage from July 2024, he called her out directly:
My sister has been nothing but supportive through everything, through thick and thin.
Ciara has also been vocal about her relationship with her siblings. In an early 2025 episode of The Mom’s POV Podcast, hosted by Kimberly and fellow NFL mom Monica Daniels, Ciara joined to dish on life with her NFL brother.
She laughed about growing up as the lone girl in a house full of boys, saying:
I love being a sister too… I have three brothers, so I grew up around a lot of male energy. But still, I’m a super girly girl and so I’m always telling them my perspective when they start like dating and stuff.

When the talk turned to advice for C.J., she kept it straightforward with a playful yet protective tone, “Find someone nice and you know who’s like selfless… and can cook and is domesticated.“
Likewise, in another segment from the podcast’s second episode, covered by The SportsRush in January 2025, Ciara shared how they stay connected despite his travels.
She revealed that they bonded over reality TV like Love Island, saying:
We love reality shows… And I got him watching it… now he loves them. So we’re always talking gossip about shows and stuff, that’s really how we connect.”
But beneath the fun, she emphasized checking in: “With C.J., I just try to keep it brother-sister vibes… As his older sister, I just wanna check in on him, like ‘are you good?’ And really that’s just my main focus.”
