Ahmad Adams, a native of Bryant, Arkansas, and a talented athlete in Bryant High School’s football program, tragically passed away on May 13, 2025.

He was a linebacker for the Arkansas State University Red Wolves, playing during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Born on December 13, 2001, he majored in Mechanical Engineering, balancing his academics and athletic career.

Exceptional Athlete Ahmad Adams Excelled In Both Football And Wrestling!

Ahmad Adams was a football player for Arkansas State University. He joined the Red Wolves football program in 2019 as a linebacker.

Standing at 6’0″ and 220 pounds, Adams played a reserve role for the Red Wolves in the Sun Belt Conference.

He contributed to his team under coach David Duggan during the challenging 2020 (4-7 record) and 2021 (2-10 record) seasons.

Before joining Arkansas State, he was a standout athlete at Bryant High School, where he helped lead his team to back-to-back state championships in 2018 and 2019.

During his high school career, he amassed 1,298 rushing yards on 166 attempts, averaging an impressive 7.8 yards per carry and scoring 19 touchdowns.

He earned all-conference recognition after rushing for 990 yards on 128 attempts, averaging 7.7 yards per carry, and finding the end zone 15 times in his senior season.

Additionally, he contributed as a receiver, recording 12 receptions for 105 yards and another touchdown.

His outstanding performance earned him a spot as a finalist for the 2019 Landers Award, which recognizes him as the Arkansas High School Player of the Year, as selected by KATV.

He was recognized as a three-star prospect and earned all-conference honors his senior season.

In addition to his football achievements, he was a high school state champion wrestler, earning a title in the 220-pound class.

Ahmad Adams Is Survived By His Mother, Wife, And Children!

Ahmad Adams’ passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community.

Moreover, his contributions to football and wrestling, along with his character and leadership, will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was not only a standout athlete on the field but also a devoted son, a loving father, and a cherished husband.

His mother, Kimberly Kaye, who lost her husband 2 years ago, lost her loving son.

She expressed her sadness, stating:

It is with my deepest sorrow that I share the shattered pieces of my heart. My son. My beautiful, amazing son Ahmad Adams has passed away this evening. Know that in his final moments he was surrounded with love as we held his hand and kissed him dearly. The GREATEST gift and assignment that God has ever bestowed unto me.

His friends and well-wishers are also pouring in tributes to honor his memory. One of them expressed their sorrow, saying,

I am so sorry. This is such an unfair pain. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God grant you peace and mercy.
