A talented athlete who played baseball at South Georgia Junior College and Augusta College, Gary Lynn Fulmer, tragically passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 74.
However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors with Dr. David McKinley officiating.
Gary’s family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
Gary was a devoted member of Warren Baptist Church and a proud United States Marine Reserves veteran.
He enjoyed his successful 40-year career in sales with Borla Brick Company.

Later, she graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2010.

Gary’s second daughter, Ashton Fulmer Mims, married Patrick Mims on May 17, 2014. They share one son named Jack Mims.
Patrick lives in Augusta, Georgia, and graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009.
On the other hand, Gary’s third daughter, Michelle, married Johnny Fleming. She has avoided social media, so little information about her life is known.
