A 27-year-old former baseball player, Jordeyn Navar Lewis, was found dead after being reported missing for a couple of days on November 12, 2025, in Douglas County.
Reportedly, Jordeyn Navar Lewis went missing after walking out of his Douglas County apartment. He appeared to have left on his own, leaving his phone and wallet behind at his apartment in the Retreat at Anneewakee complex on White Road.
His parents last saw him on November 7, 2025, and he was reported missing on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Since then, Jordeyn’s family and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office had been searching for him.
A missing person’s notice described him as last seen wearing off-white shorts, sneakers, socks, and a short-sleeve t-shirt. However, a couple of days later, he was found lifeless.
Jordeyn Navar Lewis is survived by his parents, Wanda Ramos-Lewis and Millian, and his siblings, Terron, Alyssa, Cameron, and Sydney.
After he went missing, his mother, Wanda Ramos-Lewis, shared the news on social media, asking for help to find her son. She wrote:
We have not seen our son Jordeyn since Friday afternoon November 7th. If you have seen him or know someone that has seen him please let us know. Thank you to all of our family and friends that have sent so much love and support at this time.

Tragically, on November 12, Wanda posted an update saying that Jordeyn had been found, but he had passed away.
He left a note for his family that read: “I love y’all more than you can possibly imagine. Please don’t worry about me. God has me, as he has the rest of y’all.”
In her post, Wanda and Jordeyn’s father, Millian, thanked everyone who helped search for him, including his friends, strangers, and the sheriff’s department, especially Investigator Nicole Womack.
Likewise, they also appreciated the prayers from thousands of people.
