Former Brick Township athlete Will Swiderski’s mother has worked at Via Veneto Ristorante since 1997.
Sadly, Will Swiderski, 24, a lacrosse and hockey player who served in the U.S. Marines, was killed in a fiery crash on Route 37 in Manchester Township Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2025, after his motorcycle collided with a car in an intersection and exploded.

Officers said Will had been traveling west on Route 37 when he entered the intersection and struck the Accord heading south on Colonial Drive.
Will was rushed to Community Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Accord was being operated by 20-year-old Job Martinez del Villar of Manchester, who was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
