Former Cheerleader Softball Player Andrea Ann Gill, 57, Passes Away Leaving Behind Her Husband Eric Gill

A former cheerleader and athlete, Andrea Ann Gill, tragically passed away on Wednesday.

Andrea was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and grew up in the town of Bear Lake, MI.

She was an athlete in high school, participating in softball, basketball, and cheerleading.

Her first experience as a cheerleader occurred when she was 6 years old, cheering alongside her older sister. She was the team’s unofficial mascot.

After high school, she continued her education at Michigan State University, where she received a degree in Journalism in 1991. She was a devoted MSU fan, proud of her university ties.

After college, she succumbed to the call of the mountains, moving to Breckridge, CO.

Her first job was with the Sports Stalker, whose owners she knew from home. In Colorado, she skied in winter and hiked and biked during summer.

Andrea Ann Gill Tragically Passed Away, Leaving Everyone Devastated

As per the reports, Andrea Ann Gill took her last breath on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 57.

However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.

Close friends and relatives have poured their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Andrea’s family, encouraging them to stay strong during this difficult time.

Her memory lives on with her nieces and nephews, Taylor Stolcenberg of Summerville, SC, Kyle (Marisa) Stolcenberg of Salt Lake City, UT, Kerry Stolcenberg of Leesburg, VA, Joe Luck of Hawthorne, CA, and Liz Luck of San Francisco, CA.

She will always be remembered for her contributions as a cheerleader, softball and basektball player.

Services will be held at a later date.

Andrea Ann Gill Is Survived By Her Husband, Eric Gill

Andrea Ann Gill met her first husband, Paul, in 1993.

In 2004, they moved to the Elgin, IL area, Paul’s hometown. Relocation allowed her to be closer to her mom in MI.

In Illinois, Andrea performed residential title work, a skill she acquired while in Colorado. Her last employer was Baird and Warner.

Andrea met Eric Gill in 2014. They quickly became inseparable. Enjoying 11 years together.
