A United States Army Combat Engineer and former high school wrestler, Tanner Keagan Gene Hodges, has passed away.
Tanner was born on February 5, 2003, in Fort Riley, Kansas, to Jeremy G. and Angela M. Hodges.
Keagen grew up with his brothers Brett Taylor Graham of Webb City and Cohen H. Hodges of Miami.
He graduated with the class of 2021 from Columbus High School, where he was a wrestler and a football player.
Later, he joined the United States Army, where he worked as a Combat Engineer. He was currently stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado.

The sources confirmed that the United States Army Combat Engineer, Tanner Keagen Gene Hodges, died on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 23.

Other close ones and relatives have offered their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Tanner’s family to stay strong in this difficult time.
His family announced that the visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating.
Funeral services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Full Military rites will be provided by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team.
