A beloved son, brother, and former baseball player, Anthony Mesa, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 39.
Meanwhile, the details surrounding his untimely passing remain unknown.
Anthony Mesa is survived by his wife of 7 years, Audrey Mesa, and his extended family members.
The couple tied the knot on November 5, 2017, and had a sound married life until his untimely passing.
His wife, Audrey, took to her Facebook to express her grief, writing:

Anthony Mesa was a senior outfielder from Miami, Florida, who played for Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2009 after transferring from Broward Community College.
He started 39 of FAU’s 56 games, hitting .290 with 40 hits, 30 runs scored, and two home runs while maintaining a .988 fielding percentage as a solid defensive player.
Mesa had standout performances, including a four-hit game against Stony Brook and a strong series against Louisiana-Lafayette, where he hit his first home run.
Before FAU, he earned second-team all-conference honors at Broward CC, hitting .339 with 44 runs scored in 2008.
Likewise, in high school at G. Holmes Braddock, Mesa was a three-time all-state outfielder and also excelled in football.
