Former Grapevine Faith Christian School Coach Michael Bo Peacock Sentenced to 40 years in Prison for Child Exploitation!

A former coach from Grapevine Faith Christian School in Texas, Michael Bo Peacock, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for his role in a case of child exploitation.

The sentencing took place on September 12, 2025, in a federal court in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was also ordered to serve 20 years of supervised release after his prison term and to pay a $50,000 fine.

Peacock pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to produce child pornography and enticing a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity on November 21, 2024.

Whereas his co-defendant, Daniel Perryman Collins, 35, was sentenced earlier in February 2025 to 27 years and one month in prison for the same crimes.

Reportedly, the case came to light after an investigation by the FBI’s Child Exploitation Operational Unit.

Between January and November 2023, Peacock and Collins worked together to exploit over 100 children across multiple states.

They used the dark web to communicate and target minors online, often through social media platforms.

The two men threatened and blackmailed children into creating and sharing explicit images and videos for their own gratification.

They used advanced security measures, including an overseas cloud-based file hosting service with encryption keys, to conceal their activities.

It was during a search of Collins’ home in Louisiana that agents gained access to the shared account and recovered the explicit materials.

Peacock was a high school coach at Grapevine Faith Christian School and also worked with True Texas Hoops, a basketball academy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

He was quietly fired from the school in 2023.

His social media accounts listed him as a Girls JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Grapevine Faith, as well as a coach with True Texas Hoops. However, it hasn’t been active since late 2023.

Meanwhile, parents and residents in the area are frustrated by the lack of local news coverage about this case.

Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook stated that this sentencing sends a strong message that exploiting children will not be tolerated. He praised the work of federal and state agents in protecting children from predators like Peacock and Collins.
