This article was last updated by on

A former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback, Kelvin Joseph, has kept much of his personal life out of the public eye, particularly when it comes to his relationship status.

Thus far, he hasn’t been linked romantically to anyone; in fact, Kelvin Joseph remains tight-lipped about his relationship status, with no public evidence confirming whether he has a wife.

So far, he hasn’t shared any details about having a wife or potential partner, nor have any credible reports confirmed his marital status.

Unlike several high-profile athletes, Joseph prefers to keep his relationship status private.

Kelvin Joseph Has Played for Several Teams, from the Dallas Cowboys to the DC Defenders

Cornerback Kelvin Joseph Jr., born November 11, 1999, entered the NFL with notable potential as a defensive back.

Selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round (44th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, the former University of Kentucky and LSU standout was seen as a promising talent due to his speed and coverage skills.

At Kentucky, he recorded four interceptions in nine games during the 2020 season, showcasing his ability to make plays in the secondary.

Joseph’s tenure with the Cowboys, however, was brief and inconsistent. Over two seasons (2021–2022), he appeared in 19 games, starting three, and recorded 26 tackles, one forced fumble, and three passes defended.

While playing for Dallas, Kelvin Joseph faced trouble off the field. In 2022, he was questioned about a shooting in Dallas because he was a passenger in a vehicle involved in the incident.

Although cleared of criminal charges, the episode raised questions about his judgment.

Following his stint with the Cowboys, Joseph’s career became a series of short stops across the NFL.

In 2023, he joined the Miami Dolphins, playing in four games with minimal impact. He then moved to the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad before signing with the Indianapolis Colts, where he saw limited action.

In 2024, Joseph briefly joined the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. This move placed him on a championship-caliber team but did not result in significant playing time.

Most recently, he transitioned to the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL) in 2025, reflecting his ongoing effort to stay active in professional football.
