A 21-year-old former football player from Altenburg, Missouri, Tyson Joseph Evans, took his last breath on Friday, October 31, 2025.
The precise details surrounding his untimely demise remain concealed, for his family is grieving in private.
Tyson Evans is survived by his mother, Laura Evans, and her fiancé, Mark Priest; his father, Barry Evans, and stepmother, Nicole; his sister, Taylor Evans; his stepbrother, Mason Watkins, and his wife, Libby; and his stepsister, Ava Rosenthal.
After Tyson passed, his dad, Barry, changed his Facebook cover photo to one showing Tyson with his sister.
He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Ron and Darlene Oller, and maternal grandparents, Joe and Barb Diebold.
Likewise, Tyson will also be missed by his cousins, including Ryan Oller, Robyn Oller, Jordan Dirnberger, Rylan Dirnberger, Hadley Dirnberger, Jody Diebold, Eve Diebold, Susan Bohnert and her husband Ben, Ellie Bohnert, and Henry Bohnert.
He was a loving uncle to his nephew, Crue Watkins, and many other relatives and friends who deeply cared for him.
Born on September 17, 2004, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Tyson graduated from Kelly High School in 2023, where he played football.

Tyson also served in the United States Army National Guard, HHC, and 1140th Engineer Battalion. He was also deployed to Kuwait from 2024 to 2025.
Similarly, he was also an employee of Buzzi Unicem USA.
In his free time, Tyson enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends, playing with his dog Koda, and working on his project truck with his grandpa.
This year, he was looking forward to dirt track racing with his dad, but that dream never came true.

Visitation is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.
On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, a rosary will be said at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri. Rev. Tom Wilk will officiate.
