Tressa Marie Glazier, a former Lafayette County C-1 High School softball player, passed away at the age of 45 on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She still holds records set for high school softball in Higginsville, Missouri.
Tressa Barker Glazier was a 1998 graduate of Lafayette County C-1 High School.
During her school years, she was a standout athlete, excelling in softball. She held several school records for her performance on the field.
Her passion for sports and community continued into her adult life and career. She dedicated herself to working with children, both in education and in support services.
Moreover, Tressa worked as a Paraprofessional for the Odessa R-7 School District and with the SOAR program. Most recently, she served as a Registered Behavioral Technician at Summit Behavioral Health, where she supported children with autism.
Her commitment to her community was also shown through her extensive volunteer work.
She was the Past Vice President of the Wrestling Booster Club, the Past President of the Football Booster Club, and was actively involved with the Little League Football Program.

Tressa Marie Barker, the daughter of James and Cathy (Miller) Barker, was born on January 30, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister who passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2025.
Tressa carried a spirit of teamwork and dedication throughout her life.
Her compassionate nature was precise in her passion for helping others, and she found peace in gardening.
On September 16, 2017, she married Joey Lynn Glazier in Knob Noster, MO, and together they built a life filled with love.

Tressa’s loving husband and two sons survive her.
Similarly, she shared a close bond with her mother, Cathy Mais; her father and step-mother, James and Stacy Barker; and sister, Martha Randall.
She leaves behind her father and mother-in-law, Grover and Marge Glazier, as well as many dear relatives and friends.
On the other hand, Tressa was preceded in death by her stepfather, Danny Mais; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Catherine Miller; and her paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Everleigh Markam, and Henry Barker.
The Glazier family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076.
The burial will take place at Cobb Cemetery in rural Odessa, MO, after a funeral service on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
Instead of flowers, memorials are recommended to the family caring for Cathy Mais, with a charity to be selected later.
