The nephew of the Knighthood David Beckham, “Freddie Every”, who was once frozen out of the Beckingham Palace after his parents’ divorce, now remains out of the media spotlight.

In July 2018, Freddie Every came to the media, saying he was frozen out by the Beckham family, following the divorce of his parents 11 years prior.

According to Freddie, his parents made an informal agreement that Freddie and his sister, Georgia, would live with their dad in a one-bedroom council flat after their parents divorced.

As this arrangement came to time, Freddie felt excluded from the Beckham family, despite having grown up alongside his celebrity cousins.

During his media appearances, Freddie openly shared his feelings, expressing the pain of being left out, saying;

Growing up we saw them loads and I have so many happy memories of playing at their house, doing Easter egg hunts and playing on quad bikes,’ he told the publication. Then suddenly it all stopped and I am on the outside looking in, only seeing them live their lives on Instagram or on the TV.

While his younger brother, Josh, remained with their mother, Lynne, in the comfortable Beckham house, he struggled to live with his dad in a single bed.

After Parents’ Separation, Former Footballer David Beckham’s Nephew Freddie Every Lived With His Dad, Working in Low-Paying Jobs

Freddie’s dad, Colin Every, was a working-class man, living on benefits of roughly £75 a week.

While his father alone was not able to feed him and his sister, Freddie started working from an early age, selling noodles at a local market to help out.

Eventually, he enrolled in a bricklaying apprenticeship at Barking & Dagenham College, supported by a £150 monthly.

On the other hand, Freddie’s mother, Lynne Beckham, stayed relatively connected with her brother, David, and his family.

She raised his younger son, Josh (Freddie’s brother), in more stable conditions and appeared to remain within the Beckham family’s supportive circle.

In Case You Don’t Know

  • David Beckham once gifted Freddie a pair of £200 Yeezy shoes as a Christmas present.
  • After his parents split, Freddie and his father, Colin, were living on government benefits of approximately £75 per week.
