Gary Pinkel, an American former college football coach popular for his role as the head coach of Toledo Rockets and Missouri Tigers, was married to Vicki Pinkel for almost four decades before tying the knot with Missy Martinette.

Gary Pinkel and his second wife, Missy Martinette, have been happily married for almost 10 years.

Although the exact date of their romantic beginning is not available, the former Missouri coach Gary Pinkel married Missy Martinette on June 27, 2015, in Naples, Fla, nearly three years after his divorce from his first wife.

His wife, Missy, aka Melissa Martinette Pinkel, is an owner and publisher at L O Profile magazine and Studio M Publishing LLC.

She established her company in 1987 in Lake of the Ozarks, Mid Missouri, and has successfully run it for over 37 years.

The company includes Columbia’s business scene coverage and has earned numerous awards, including platinum and gold from the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

In addition to running her business, Missy hosts several weekly local radio shows and supports several nonprofit organizations.

Likewise, she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Graphic Design degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985, where she worked as a graphic designer in Kansas City before founding her company.

Gary Pinkel Shares Three Children With His First Wife, Vicki Pinkel!

The SEC Coach of the Year, Gary Pinkel, shares three children with former wife Vicki Pinkel, including a daughter named Erin Pinkel and two sons named Geoff Pinkel and Blake Pinkel.

“I am saddened to say that my wife and I separated at the beginning of this year; thank you to family and friends who have shown us support. I would ask that you please respect the privacy of the entire Pinkel family during this difficult time.”

Gary and Vicki Pinkel met at Kent State, where he was a football player, and she was a cheerleading squad member.

They married shortly before Gary’s senior year in 1973 after getting close while attending a one-hour elective dance class at Kent State.
