Lisa Guerrero and her former husband, Scott Erickson, divorced after 15 years of marriage. In the past few years, the Inside Edition reporter hasn’t shied away from showing her new love on her social media handles.

Guerrero, 60, began her career in show business in the 80s as a cheerleader for the NFL team Los Angeles Rams.

As she slowly climbed the ranks, Guerrero started drawing attention and received offers for small movie roles.

In the 90s, the reporter starred in several movies and shows, including Batman Returns in 1992 and the TV series Cybill in 1996.

She began her sports anchor career in 1997 with Los Angeles’ KCBS-TV and later joined KTTV.

Two years later, Lisa started showing up on Fox Sports shows Sports Geniuses, Fox Overtime, and Fox Extra Innings, and co-hosted The Best Damn Sports Show Period.

After four years with Fox Sports, Lisa made the biggest move of her career in 2003, joining ABC’s Monday Night Football as a sideline reporter.

The most significant move of her career also became her biggest nightmare, which she detailed in her 2023 memoir Warrior. Lisa left MNF after one season.

Since 2006, Lisa has been working with INSIDE EDITION. She joined INSIDE EDITION as the West Coast correspondent and has now become their Chief Investigative Correspondent.

The INSIDE EDITION reporter, Lisa Guerrero, and her boyfriend, David Sheriff, look a perfect match.

The reporter has shared several photos with her better half on her Instagram handle and Facebook account.

On the other hand, David doesn’t seem to share the same enthusiasm for social media.

Previously, on October 11, 2022, Lisa shared a gallery of images from their celebration at Palm Springs for David’s birthday.

David seems to have integrated well with Lisa’s family and has been pictured several times with Lisa’s dad, Walter Coles, and her brother, Richard.

For instance, For Walter’s 85th birthday in August 2023, the Guerrero family and David flew to the UK.

Lisa documented the trip and shared the video on Thanksgiving on November 22, 2023.

Lisa revealed her father had recovered from his quadruple bypass surgery last November and wrote that the three men, “Walter, Richard, and David,” were a huge part of what she was thankful for in her life.

The couple celebrated 2024 Christmas together and also rang the New Year 2025 with a romantic dinner in a Malibu restaurant.

Unlike Lisa, her boyfriend, David Sheriff, comes from a different background.

David graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1988 with an Engineering degree and was also a Wing Training Officer.

For five years, David worked as a Fighter Pilot for the USAF and later became President and CEO of two companies: Astron ds Corporation and Petros724.

Since 2012, David has served as the CEO of Displays NOW and the CEO of Star Warriors IV dba Parasound, which he joined in 2022.

Lisa Guerrero Was Previously Married to the Baseball Player Scott Erickson!

The former married couple, Lisa Guerrero and Scott Erickson tied the knot in 2004 in Hawaii.

Scott exchanged his vows with Lisa a day after his 36th birthday on February 3, 2004.

The reporter met the baseball pitcher when she was working with Fox Sports while he pitched for the Baltimore Orioles.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Scott began his MLB journey with the Minnesota Twins in 1990. He played five seasons with the Twins before the Orioles traded for him.

In 2001, after having Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, Scott was sidelined from the sport for a season.

He was again sidelined in 2003, and when he returned in 2004, he had been traded to the Mets.

After unsuccessful stints with the Mets, the Dodgers, the Rangers, and the Yankees in the span of three seasons, Scott retired from the sport after the 2006 season.

In her memoir Warriors, Lisa shared that while working as a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football, she suffered a miscarriage on Live TV.

She detailed in her memoir that working in MNF had completely changed her and that the once fierce woman had become a sobbing mess.

Lisa wrote that MNF’s executive producer Freddie Gaudelli would criticize her clothes, her posture, and her script writing and feed the misogynistic trolls.

Scott told her to quit MNF after hearing Freddie scream and curse at her on her headset.

Thus far, the reason behind the downfall of Lisa and Scott’s seemingly happy marital life remains unknown.
