Former Mont Pleasant High School Athlete Rudolph Beerle Now Reunites With His Late Wife of 63 Years, Joan Beerle!

Rudolph “Rudy” Beerle, aged 97, peacefully passed away on the afternoon of August 10, 2025, in Schenectady, NY.

While the cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, his passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.

Rudolph Beerle Was A Multi-Sport Athlete During His High School Years!

Affectionately called RuRu, Rudolph Beerle was born and raised in Colonie, NY, where he developed a passion for sports early on.

As a student at Mont Pleasant High School, Rudy was a multi-sport athlete, excelling in football, baseball, and track & field.

His athletic talents were matched by his dedication and work ethic, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

After high school, Rudy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps twice, contributing to the efforts in both World War II and the Korean War.

His service to his country was a defining part of his legacy, and it highlighted his commitment to protecting and serving others.

Following his military service, Rudy transitioned into a career in the corporate world, working for prominent companies such as A&P Markets and Price Chopper.

His love for sports continued throughout his life, as he was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, and he enjoyed playing golf whenever possible.

Rudy’s personal life was just as rich as his professional one. He was married for 63 years to his beloved wife, Joan Beerle, who passed away before him.

Rudy Beerle’s family and community are mourning the loss of a man who brought joy to everyone around him.

His family described him as a loving and devoted husband, uncle, and great-uncle.

His niece, Monique Vellano, expressed how deeply they would miss him, saying:

Uncle Rudy was one of the coolest guys in the room, always making everyone laugh. He lived life to the fullest and brought so much happiness to our family.

Rudy was predeceased by his wife, Joan Beerle, and his siblings’ children, Tina Audino (John) and Michele Mauro-Tartaglia.

He is survived by his great-nieces, Monique Vellano (Paul) and Nicolette Audino (Gabe), as well as his great-great-nieces, Pauley, Coco, and Johnny.
