Former NBA champion Michael Jordan was greatly influenced by his mother, Deloris Jordan, who shaped his character both on and off the court.

From an early age, Michael’s mother supported her son in fulfilling his basketball dream and continued to support him throughout his journey.

However, Deloris endured the heartbreaking loss of her husband and Michael’s father, James, in July 1993.

Despite the grief of losing her partner, she remained strong, supporting Michael through his mourning and ensuring her family stayed united during that difficult time.

Deloris made sure her children never felt her husband’s absence and dedicated herself to her family.
