Richard Sherman and his wife, Ashley Moss, have been together for over a decade despite several thick and thin. The long-term couple is the parents of two children, Rayden and Avery.
A former professional football cornerback, Richard Sherman, started his career as a wide receiver before becoming a cornerback.
Richard, who played college football for the Stanford Cardinal, was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
In nearly no time, he established his name as a vital member of the Seahawk’s “Legion of Boom” defense, helping the team bag Super Bowl XLVIII.
The former football player, Richard, and his wife, Ashley, established Blanket Coverage, a family organization that aims to help as many kids as possible.
In addition to the organization, Ashley Moss is also an entrepreneur. She owns US Nails Renton, according to her Instagram bio.
Richard and His Wife, Ashley Moss, Married After Five Years of Dating in 2018!
Richard and his wife, Ashley Moss, allegedly started dating around 2013; however, intricate details surrounding their relationship timeline remain away from the media.
The couple engaged in June 2015 in Hawaii, a couple of months after their firstborn son, Rayden Sherman, was born in February 2015, four days after Super Bowl XLIX.
Although the cornerback didn’t bag a Super Bowl trophy, his then-girlfriend now-wife, Ashley, gave him the biggest gift of life.
They weren’t expecting the baby to arrive until February 12; however, as cliched as it sounds, Rayden was born on February 5, 2015, written 2/5/15, and Sherman wore number 25 for the Seattle Seahawks.
Richard tweeted playful yet sentimental thoughts on his unanticipated son’s birth, writing:
My son sure does know how to make an entrance! 2/5/15… Is it a coincidence or is he just that clever?! Either way, I’m ecstatic

A little over a year later, they extended their family of three to four with the arrival of their second child, daughter Avery Sherman, on April 16, 2016.
Eventually, after five years of courtship, Richard and Ashley finally married in the Dominican Republic on March 28, 2018, on a beach at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana.
Several well-known faces attended the wedding ceremony, including Frank Clark, Floyd Mayweather, Byron Maxwell, Brandon Browner, and Michael Robinson.
Richard took it to his Instagram to share the big news, posting a carousel of pictures of the wedding ceremony. He wrote:
Grateful to share this moment with so many incredible people. Been an amazing trip so far. Hope it can continue at the beautiful

The Couple of Christian Faith, Richard and Ashley, Baptized Their Children in August 2024!
On August 25, 2024, Richard and Ashley’s children, Rayden and Avery, were baptized in the company of their family and friends.
Ashley shared the auspicious news on her Instagram, writing:
Sunday August 25, 2024 was a special day for Rayden and Avery. They dedicated their life to Christ before their friends and family. This journey has been a blessing to watch. Huge thank you to @bigplayrainey for your constant guidance and for making this day happen. And also for allowing me personally to baptize my children as they continue their walk in faith. God is so good.
A supportive parent, Richard, occasionally shares little, not so little, milestones of his son, Rayden, who is also a USA Track & Field (USATF). Recently, he wrote:
Proud of my Son! Goes out and puts the work in to improve every week then goes and executes the plan! There is no greater joy.

In another post, he wrote, “I cannot even put into words how proud I am of these boys as a father and coach. They are 5th in the Nation in the 4x100m. They came to me and said they wanted to be All-Americans, and I told them it would take work and trust. They went over and beyond every week and deserve all the success they have had. These boys motivate me every day, and I appreciate every single one of them for that.
