Emmanuel Acho Previously Dated Actress Yvonne Orji!
One of Acho’s most notable relationships was with Nigerian-American actress and comedian Yvonne Orji.
Known for her role in the HBO series Insecure, Orji and Acho began dating in early 2018.
The couple’s relationship became public when Orji shared glimpses of their vacation together in Mexico on Instagram. However, the relationship didn’t last.
By 2019, the couple had decided to part ways. Orji addressed the breakup candidly on her “Jesus & Jollof” podcast during a Valentine’s Day episode, stating,
During the podcast, she also expressed her faith in God’s plans and attributed her peace to her spiritual beliefs.
Despite the end of their romance, the two remain on good terms and continue to follow each other on social media.
Emmanuel Acho Entangled In the Controversy
More recently, Emmanuel Acho’s name has been linked to Joy Taylor, a fellow FS1 sports analyst and co-host on “Speak.”
Taylor was named in a lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, which alleged workplace misconduct involving several individuals, including Taylor.
The lawsuit suggested that Taylor and Emmanuel were romantically involved. It also included claims that their relationship may have influenced career advancements within the network.
According to the lawsuit, Faraji was present at lunch when she observed Taylor and Emmanuel’s interaction. It was this interaction that led her to believe they were involved romantically.
The lawsuit further explained that Taylor hoped Emmanuel would put in a good word for her for a prominent role on Speak for Yourself, which ultimately happened.
Neither Emmanuel Acho nor Joy Taylor has commented on these allegations, but the rumors have created a firestorm of speculation and online backlash.

That said, Emmanuel has not been named as a defendant in the lawsuit, and no misconduct allegations have been made against him.
Fox Sports, meanwhile, has stated that it takes such accusations seriously but has refrained from further comment due to ongoing legal proceedings.
Emmanuel has yet to address the lawsuit. He recently appeared on Fox Sports’ show ‘The Facility‘ without mentioning the legal proceedings.
On top of that, the fact that he deleted a video from 2022 in which he praised Taylor but has not commented on the reason for its removal raised speculations surrounding prevailing romantic accusations.
