William was a multi-sport athlete in high school who also competed in wrestling.
What Went Wrong?
The Cornerback also got recruitment offers from plenty of University teams, including Cornell, Dartmouth, St.Thomas, Drake, Columbia, Wabash, Old Dominion, and Valparaiso.
He was redshirted for the 2023 season and didn’t even make a single appearance for the University of Iowa.
The former Northern Iowa man was also listed twice in the proral entries in April 2023.
North Dakota State (NDSU) got their man to play for the Bisons on July 15, 2024, as a Freshman, but he never got to play a single game and was named to the MVFC Honor Roll for Academic recognition.
Unfortunately, he is forced to leave without making any impact on one of the dominant programs in College Football.
William Frattalone was dismissed from the NDSU football team after being charged with Theft.
On July 4, 2025, the 20-year-old allegedly stole an LV duffel bag from a boat that was docked. The bad also contained a Rolex watch, worth over $200,000, and around $5,000 in cash. $25,000 in limited-edition clothing, Car Keys, a passport, compact drives, and many other valuable items.
The exact moment he was suspected of a crime was when he tried to enter the Maynards Restaurant on Lake Minnesota with the large bag, which is strictly prohibited.
A Staff member stopped him from entering the restaurant with the bag, which helped he police to flag the theft in real time. He was removed from the restaurant and triggered an investigation, which eventually led to his charge at the Hennepin County District Court.
The bison forum confirmed William’s dismissal from the team, which was Head Coach Tim Polasek’s decision.
“He was not part of the 123 players for fall camp and will not be considered to re-join the team in any fashion,” Tim said. The decision from the University regarding his academics future has not been released yet.
