In addition to the successful NFL career, the 83-year-old legendary former quarterback Roger Staubach reportedly has amassed a massive estimated net worth of $600 million from his entrepreneurial journey.

Roger Thomas Staubach, born February 5, 1942, is a legendary former NFL quarterback who played 11 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

Known as “Roger the Dodger” and “Captain Comeback,” Roger led the Cowboys to five Super Bowls, winning two of them (Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII).

Furthermore, the quarterback also earned the MVP honors in Super Bowl VI.

Roger is celebrated as one of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks.

He is the only player to win the Heisman Trophy (1963) and later enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a quarterback.

Before beginning his NFL career in 1969, Staubach attended the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the Navy, including a deployment to Vietnam.

Roger Staubach Founded a Successful Commercial Real Estate Firm, The Staubach Group, Which He Sold for a Whopping $613 Million!

Along with his super successful NFL career, Roger Staubach is celebrated for his entrepreneurial success, with an estimated net worth of $600 million.

His eleven seasons as the quarterback for the Cowboys undoubtedly created a strong base for his financial success.

However, much of his wealth stems from his time as a legendary player and his success in commercial real estate after his retirement.

In 1977, while still an active player, Staubach founded a successful commercial real estate firm, The Staubach Group.

The Staubach Company, a commercial real estate firm, would later grow into a powerhouse. Its booming success unquestionably added to his growing capital.

However, in 2008, Roger sold The Staubach Company to Jones Lang LaSalle for a whopping $613 million.

This sale of his company for this colossal amount significantly skyrocketed Roger’s financial standing.

Furthermore, Roger remained involved with Jones Lang LaSalle as the executive chairman of the Americas region.

Staubach’s tenure in this position must also have contributed to his ever-growing net worth. He served in this position until 2018 when he retired.

In fact, former athletes have applauded his post-NFL career as one of the most successful business ventures.

Hence, it is safe to assume that besides his already successful sports career, he solidified his name in entrepreneurship and continued to increase his financial standing even after retirement as an active football player.
