Former referee Robin DeLorenzo’s husband, Thomas Lezak, is a former college official and the founder of Fonify.

Recently, the NFL fired third-year line judge Robin DeLorenzo, second-year umpire James Carter, and first-year down judge Robert Richardson and sent them back to the college ranks.

Robin DeLorenzo made her debut as a referee in the 2022 NFL season.

She was deeply connected with this profession as her father, Rich, introduced her to the sport.

After passing the officiating test in her father’s class and subsequently “falling in love with officiating,” Robin joined her father’s crew.

She spent 11 years officiating at the high school level before steadily rising through the college ranks.

Robin landed high-profile opportunities, such as the 2021 Ohio State and Michigan games and the Fiesta Bowl featuring Oklahoma State and Notre Dame.

Following the college games, she worked for The Big Ten and started calling games for the USFL.

Former referee Robin DeLorenzo and Thomas Lezak married in Positano, Italy, on June 12, 2021. They have been married for around three years.

According to the source, Thomas has been a college official. His LinkedIn profile shows that he was a former sales manager at Shore Network Solutions from May 2012 to August 2013.

Later, he served as a sales manager at Voice Logistics Group from January 2014 to February 2017.

From 2011 to 2016, he served as the official of ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference).

In February 2017, he founded Fonify, which partners with small and mid-sized businesses in New Jersey to help them better collaborate, communicate, and connect.

Thomas had always been very supportive of Robin DeLorenzo.

Earlier, when Robin was returning home after working two games each weekend for the USFL, her flight was delayed.

When she landed at Newark Liberty International Airport, Thomas picked her up. When she got in the car, her father called her on FaceTime, and Thomas told her to answer.

However, Thomas has been quiet following Robin’s removal from the NFL.
