One of his friends shared a heartfelt message, saying:
This one hurts a lot. We (and I mean all of us) have lost a true friend. Scott was someone we could all count on and if you were with him, you were his best friend at that time. He always took the extra minute to ask how everyone in our family and all our friends were doing. He did that because he cared. He cared about his family and he treated his friends like family. I will miss our talks about our mutual love for all things Manasquan and especially Manasquan football
. I will remember you Scott every time I say “Go Squan Beat Wall!” And I will say it a lot! RIP my friend and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
