Following Brian Williams’ passing, both parents, Kimberly and Rawleigh, have been mourning their son while receiving an outpouring of support from family, friends, and the Texas A&M community.

Brian Williams was a talented football player who played as a safety for Texas A&M.

Before joining the Aggies, he was a standout at Bishop Dunne Catholic High School in Dallas.

During that time, he earned accolades such as USA TODAY High School Sports Texas Defensive Player of the Year and First Team safety in 2017.

He played for Texas A&M from 2019 to 2021, appearing in multiple games and making key defensive contributions.

Tragically, Williams passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 24 due to complications from heat stroke after running a half marathon in Irving, Texas.

Brian Williams was born on November 6, 2001, to parents Rawleigh and Kimberly Williams.

His mother, Kimberly Williams, is a Transition Strategist, Author, and Podcast Host.

She specializes in leadership transitions and change management, particularly for nonprofits.

As the CEO of Interfaith Family Services, she has raised nearly $50 million to combat poverty and homelessness in Dallas.

She also runs Kim Williams Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping organizations navigate periods of change.

She hosts the “Life & Leadership with Kim Williams” podcast, where she shares insights on leadership, personal growth, and overcoming challenges.

Additionally, she has authored “Diary of an Insecure CEO“, a book that explores the struggles and triumphs of leadership.

In recent days, she has been mourning the loss of her beloved son, Brian.

On May 20, 2025, she posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, sharing a picture of herself with her late son, saying:

I cannot believe you are gone. Our hearts hurt more than words can say. You were the best human we knew – the kindest, purest in heart, and most humble despite all you accomplished. You loved God and you loved us. Now, you are with him – total peace, total joy, – watching over us. We love you and we will see you again.

On the other hand, Kimberly Williams’ husband, Rawleigh, has led a private life as compared to his wife and son.

Despite this, he has been a steadfast supporter of his family, standing by them through triumphs and challenges.

Kimberly often shares pictures of herself with him, reflecting their strong bond and the love they share.

While there is limited publicly available information about Rawleigh Williams Sr., he is the father of two talented sons and one daughter.

His promising career was cut short due to a serious neck injury in 2017, leading him to retire from football.

However, he transitioned into the business world and has made a significant impact.

Williams is currently the co-head of sports at Milk & Honey, a management company that has expanded into sports representation.

He played a key role in growing its roster, including high-profile athletes like Travis Kelce.

Additionally, he co-founded sip Torne, a Dallas-based canned espresso martini company that has gained recognition in the beverage industry.

Williams III shared an emotional tribute to his late brother, Brian Williams, expressing deep sorrow and love, saying:

B you are my heart. The BEST version of us in every single way B. I don’t think I can make it without you but I’m going to try for our parents and our sister. I love you brother2d.

His words reflected their strong bond, emphasizing how Brian was the “best version” of them.

Additionally, he acknowledged the immense difficulty of moving forward without his brother but vowed to remain strong for their parents and sister.
