Democracy Matters engages hundreds of students and faculty across the country through teach-ins, letter-writing and petition efforts, educational seminars, and voter registration initiatives.

Likewise, Foyle founded the Kerosene Lamp Foundation, a non-profit organization in Orinda, California, that helps children in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame inducted Adonal Foyle on September 24, 2009.
