Demonta Brown, a former Whitehouse High School Football Player, was transported to a local hospital by EMS and passed away from a gunshot wound on October 9, 2025.

He was also known as Mack Gee and was only 32 years old.

Mack Gee is remembered as a bright young man from the Whitehouse community.

He played football for Whitehouse High School, where he demonstrated teamwork and dedication on the field.

Beyond the football field, he was also a familiar face at “Church on Wednesday” (C.O.W.), a weekly youth program. He was committed to his faith and community.

Sadly, his life was cut short, but his memory continues to live on with his teammates, friends, and all who knew him in the Whitehouse community.

Another sad day around here.
My friend Demonta Brown passed away today. He was a part of C.O.W. (Church on Wednesday), our weekly youth program. I got to know him even better on the sidelines of football games. After his high school days, we met up a few times just to talk about life. He was one of those young men I’ll never forget. Prayers for his family.

Lord help me with this one. I can not believe my baby is gone, my bonus son. Please pray for my children and their other siblings. They are taking this hard; they just lost their brother last night, well, early morning. This stuff is getting out of hand. I will miss you, Demonte Brown (Mack Gee). I will remember your last words to me. Rest in Love, Buddy.
