Sportscaster Erin Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, a former ice hockey player, tied the knot in 2017, five years after their first meeting. In 2023, the couple welcomed a third family member, a son, via surrogacy.

Erin began her career as a sportscaster in the early 2000sand it was her job that led her to meet her former athlete husband.

Andrews, 46, was born in Lewiston, Maine, but her family kept moving when she was young.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Andrews began reporting for Fox Sports Florida as a freelance reporter in 2000.

She served as a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for the Sunshine Network for a year before she began to cover the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers, and Atlanta Hawks.

In 2004, she moved to ESPN and began reporting on the College World Series and ESPN National Hockey Night.

Erin returned to Fox Sports in 2012 and has reported three Super Bowls, ten NFC Championships, and the 2014 and 2015 World Series/MLB All-Star Games.

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews’ husband, Jarret Stoll, was born in Melville and raised in Cranbrook, Canada.

The former NHL player went through the draft process twice. During his initial year of eligibility, the Calgary Flames selected Jarret as the 46th overall pick.

In 2002, he again went through the draft process and was picked by the Edmonton Oilers as the 36th overall pick.

Stoll played six seasons for the Oilers, including one season with Edmonton Road Runners and another with Edmonton Oilers ‘A‘.

Jarret was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 2008 and won two Stanley Cups with the side in 2012 and again in 2014.

After the 2015-16 season, he retired from the NHL and began working as a talent scout for the Kings in December 2016.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jarret revealed that Andrews rejected him the first time around.

His friend Michael Strahan set him up with the reporter, but Erin was busy with the 2012 World Series.

Jarret later met her in person during a game in San Francisco. After the World Series finished, the couple had dinner in Hollywood and began dating.

After four years of dating, Jarret proposed to Erin in December 2016, during their trip to Disneyland’s Club 33, and the reporter confirmed the news later while reporting at Lambeau Fied.

The power couple tied the knot on June 24, 2017, in Big Sky, Montana; the date also happens to be Jarret’s birthday.

The power couple, Erin and Jarret, are each other’s rock, overcoming some of the most challenging moments in their lives together.

The Fox reporter, Erin Andrews, underwent two surgeries after a 2017 cervical cancer diagnosis.

Not only that, but she also went through nine rounds of in vitro fertilization in hopes of becoming a mom.

She told the E! News,

My husband was so amazing about learning about my cancer. He was so amazing about supporting me any way he could with either the shots, the transfers, the retrievals. Not a lot of guys understand all that.

The couple dealt with egg production difficulties and failed embryos. Eventually, after considering several options, they decided on surrogacy.

Erin and Jarret welcomed their son Mack Roger Stoll via a surrogate on June 28, 2023.

In her podcast, Calm Down with Erin Charissa, Erin shared that there was a little bit of an emergency in the delivery room.

She said there were concerns about Mack’s heartbeat because of how quickly he dropped into the birth canal.

Andrews has previously spoken about the guilt of not being able to bear children. She said there were times she judged herself for not being able to carry the baby.

Nonetheless, being an ideal husband, Jarret has helped her get rid of those dark thoughts as he is her biggest cheerleader.
