Fox Sports 1 (FS1) has reportedly chosen not to renew Joy Taylor’s contract, ending her nearly decade-long tenure with the network.

This decision coincides with a broader shake-up at FS1, which includes the cancellation of three shows: Speak, The Facility, and Breakfast Ball.

Taylor co-hosted Speak alongside Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce.

Regardless, Fox Sports never officially stated that the lawsuit was the reason for not renewing her contract.

However, the timing strongly suggests the lawsuit played a major role in the decision.

It triggered a major shakeup at the network, including the firing of Charlie Dixon and the cancellation of shows involving all three individuals.

Noushin Faraji Filed A Lawsuit Alleging Joy Taylor Had Intimate Relationships With Charlie and Emmanuel To Advance Her Career!

In January 2025, hairstylist Noushin Faraji filed a lawsuit against Fox Sports, naming Joy Taylor, Emmanuel Acho, Charlie Dixon (former executive VP), and Skip Bayless among others.

Faraji alleges that Taylor had simultaneous sexual relationships with Dixon and Acho to advance her career.

The suit claims Taylor dismissed Faraji’s complaints of sexual harassment by Dixon and Bayless, reportedly telling her to “get over it.”

It also accuses Taylor of planning to accuse Dixon of misconduct once he was “no longer useful” to her professionally.

The lawsuit includes allegations of sexual battery, retaliation, and hostile workplace behavior spanning over a decade.

This workplace misconduct lawsuit filed against Fox Sports has directly impacted Joy Taylor’s career trajectory.

With the cancellation of Speak, she lost her primary platform and now faces reputational challenges that could make other networks wary of association.

While she has strongly denied the allegations, calling them “devoid of merit,” the narrative surrounding her professional future has already begun to shift.

However, Taylor’s established fan base and experience may allow her to rebuild through digital platforms, podcasting, or even independent commentary.

If she can weather the legal storm and reshape her public image, she might emerge as a more autonomous voice in sports media.

On the flip side, while Emmanuel Acho was not accused of harassment, his alleged involvement with Taylor has cast a shadow over his reputation.

FS1 also canceled The Facility, the show he hosted, and chose not to retain him in its new lineup.

Acho has remained largely silent on the matter, though he did delete a 2022 video praising Taylor, which fans interpreted as damage control.

His future in mainstream sports broadcasting is uncertain, as networks may hesitate to associate with talent linked to unresolved legal controversies.

For now, Acho may pivot toward independent media ventures like podcasting or digital platforms. But rebuilding trust with audiences and industry peers will be a steep climb.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Charlie Dixon, the former executive vice president of content at Fox Sports (FS1), was placed on administrative leave in February and was officially terminated in April 2025.
  • Emmanuel Acho co-hosted the FS1 show The Facility, which premiered in September 2024.
